Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 September 2026. This policy explains what personal information Uganda Gorilla Trekking, operated by Primate Safari Experiences Ltd, collects through this website and how we use it. Our office is at Namasuba Kikajjo, Ssemakula Road, Makindye Ssabagabo, Wakiso District, Uganda.
What we collect
- Enquiry and booking details. Your name, email address, travel dates, group size and any message you send through our forms or by email.
- Travel documents. When you book, we need names, nationalities and passport details as they appear in your passports, because gorilla permits and lodge bookings require them.
- Website usage. Basic information about how the site is used, collected through cookies if you accept them.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, check permit and lodge availability, arrange and confirm your trip, and contact you about it. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to deliver your trip: the Uganda Wildlife Authority for permits, lodges and camps for accommodation, airlines and drivers for transport, and payment providers for payments. These parties handle your information under their own policies.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to make it work and, if you accept them, to understand how it is used. You can choose essential cookies only when the cookie notice appears, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide your trip and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
